MetaMask Card eligibility

MetaMask Card is currently in a pilot phase and is only available to MetaMask users in the UK, the EU, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and a small pilot group of United States users.

We’re working hard to bring MetaMask Card to more people; stay tuned for updates!

Get started ​

Before you can start spending crypto in the real world with your MetaMask Card, you need to set up a few things.

Set up your MetaMask Card account with Crypto Life Bridge funds to Linea Approve tokens and a spending cap for your card Add MetaMask card to your digital wallet

Set up your account ​

Eligible users can find their personal sign-up link under the ‘Card’ tab in MetaMask Portfolio . This link will allow you to set up your account with our partner, Crypto Life.

'Card' tab

If there is no ‘Card’ tab in MetaMask Portfolio, you have not yet been selected to participate in the pilot. You can fill out this form to stay notified on future eligibility.

Setting up your account involves adding an email/password, confirming your phone number, and verifying your identity through a secure Know Your Customer (KYC) process.

Crypto Life manages your account and processes your personal information in accordance with their Privacy Policy ; your information is never shared with MetaMask. Learn more about your security and privacy with MetaMask here .

Bridge and approve a spending cap ​

MetaMask Card uses the Linea network to settle transactions. Currently, USDC, USDT, and wETH (wrapped Ether) are supported for spending with MetaMask Card.

When you first set up your card, you'll be prompted to bridge funds to Linea and set a spending limit. You can do these steps later, but you won't be able to spend with MetaMask Card until you have approved tokens on Linea and set a spending limit.

Add MetaMask Card to your digital wallet ​

You can add MetaMask Card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for easy, instant transactions. You can learn how to add MetaMask Card to your digital wallet here .

Start spending ​

Now that you’ve set up your account, bridged funds to Linea, and delegated tokens to spend using your card, you’re ready to start spending! Head on over to our guide on spending with your MetaMask Card .
